praise
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. Psalm 9:1, 2
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. Psalm 22:22

Little Brother
April 27, 1959 ~ March 1, 2008O’er the spoils that death has won,
We would at this solemn time
Calmly say, “Thy will be done.”
Though cast down, we’re not forsaken,
Though afflicted, not alone;
Thou didst give, and Thou hast taken;
Blessèd Lord, “Thy will be done.”
Though today we’re filled with mourning,
Mercy still is on the throne;
With Thy smiles and love returning,
We can say, “Thy will be done.”
By Thy hands the boon was given;
Thou hast taken but Thine own;
Lord of earth, and God of Heaven,
Evermore, “Thy will be done.”

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ~Matthew 11:28-30
March 1st - about my hair

But then, I wasn't a CowNot gal in 1978. I'm a CowNot gal now. And this is what I do for entertainment:
They don't care what my hair looks like.
They care about cookies.

Willie used to be afraid of cookies and afraid of me.
Not any more. Willie is first in line.
Willie's hair is kinda messy too.
Clearly, this is the face of a CowNot that cares about cookies:
Bandit & Hester Sue
They have good hair.
My hair...notsomuch.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. ~1 Corinthians 1:27-29
