I Mowed

I like to mow. Charles is probably hoping the nearby farmers noticed the little woman was on the tractor Friday, so they won't think he created the circles, stripes, diamonds. And this time I had a really nice paisley in the front yard.

I was pretty pleased with myself when I chose to push the mowed areas closer to the woods by toodling along in the tall grass edging the trees...until the mower abruptly and much too noisily clattered to a stop. Male faces half an acre away all turned my direction, as I sheepishly dismounted the tractor.

Oopsie

Maybe I could sell it to a sculptor on eBay and recoup the expense of the new blades.

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Isaiah 40:8

Oopsie, indeed. *S* It's too bad you like to mow, as this is the kind of thing that could easily get you out of this chore for good. Do you suppose you could do something similar to your range or vacuum cleaner? *L*
