Thistle

Eeyore's favorite food. A 78? I'm not sure of the number assignment, but etched in my memory is the little, yellow, grooved disk my sister and I spun over and over on the record player, listening to a Winnie the Pooh tale of what the animals liked best to eat.


Theophilus thistle sifter. I was five years old. The first tongue twister I learned.

That other weed? After 3 weeks, the delicate center portion was barely beginning to show signs of aging. Mostly, though, I was a little tired of looking at it, so it's gone now.
