Driver . PresidentNot . Just a Driver

Son3, who will be 18 years old at the end of this month, decided it's time to have a drivers license.  Drivers license.  Got that?  He's not seeking town mayorship, a seat in Congress, or the Presidency of the United States of America.  He's ready to drive a car.

To be King of the United States of America, one need not supply a certified copy of one's birth certificate, proving who one is and from whence one heralds (required by the defunct Constitution of the late United States of America).  One can present a document saying one was born, and the document can even be deemed a forgery by document specialists.  Use it anyway and refuse to reveal the actual birth certificate.  Present also, though, a newspaper birth announcement made through said newspaper accessing the government record of someone having applied for that live birth certification — the one which isn't a birth certificate in the first place.

Crack jokes, call names, disparage the sanity of, and vilify anyone who would like to know who the king is.

We paid $45 for receipt of the real birth certificate and expedited (not) shipping.
The king has purportedly spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep his out of everyone's sight.

Son3 wants to drive, so he took to the DMV his certified, sealed, birth certificate (which UPS lost for a solid week), the yellowed newspaper page announcing his birth (just like the king's, only Son3's said at the top of the column "Matter of Record" and was a match to his real birth certificate), and the most recent issue of Missouri Conservationist magazine, bearing his name and address as the subscriber, verifying his address, and last but not least, his dad, whose name appears in the birth announcement and on the birth certificate, has always been a U.S. citizen, and who has a photo ID.

Not enough.

Not enough for Son3 to acquire a drivers license.
Much more than enough to be king.
Not enough to drive a car.

Go over this again for me:  WHO are the nutjobs?

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  ~Isaiah 5:20

Obama is a man whose father was from another country, whose mother's ability to bestow citizenship is questioned, whose birthplace is undetermined and secret, who took up residence in Indonesia as a citizen under another name, who returned to the U.S. on an undetermined and secret passport without legally changing his name, has become the 44th President of the United States without so much as a promise and a newspaper article, and not a man can be considered sane who may question him.

Son3 is a man who was born in the continental U.S. to parents who have never left its shores, and has never left its shores himself, whose family unanimously maintains that Son3 was born in the U.S., who was born in a hospital as a U.S. citizen, whose state of birth has confirmed this with a birth certificate bearing his parents', doctor's, and state officials' signatures, whose local newspaper reported on his birth, and whose name has never been changed, has been denied his right to drive a car for lack of evidence.

The Kansas DMV is nothing but a hotbed of birther nutjobs!

Your dad had to learn a foreign language to communicate with his company-supplied employees, who work and drive in the town (on a south-north interstate) where you were denied the right to a drivers license. Something's rotten, and it ain't in Denmark.
