Looks like you had lots of action! It's crappie season--I remember when Dad used to take us crappie fishing at Pomme. The most fun fishing ever! Sorry, just reminiscing. :)

Ah, fishing at Pomme, kb. Ü Your brother introduced me to crappie. Lots and lots of crappie. Good memories, indeed. We pulled 81 out of Arrowhead one day: line in, fish out.

Since you mentioned them, maybe I will post what the fellows brought home from Melvern the very next day after my pond pluckings. I opted out. 65 breezy degrees under cloudy skies and on the water isn't my cup o' fishing tea. I'm a lightweight.

Cousin Annie, what fish did you and your dad fetch, when you were young? Mother taught us to nab bluegills, sun perch, and frogs.

Well, CarolineNot, my daddy...your uncle...was more of a catfish guy. We always stocked our ponds with channel cat & mud cats, let them grow a little, then fished them out. But the most fun was when I got to go to the river with him & set lines. Never seemed to have much luck, but the memories are oh so sweet! I do have a "fish tail"to tell you sometime that was quite funny, but too long winded for here.

Oh...I always "helped" Daddy skin the fish, too, & couldn't wait to see if their "airbag" would come out unscathed so I could play with know...float it in water & such! :)

Thanks for may be sorry you asked(!)...& thanks for sharing your "fish tails", pictures & all......!
