A Day at Melvern Lake

Harvey's ears turn inside-out on the lake.
Barney should sing a song about that.

Son4's ears get wet in the lake.
No songs needed.

We stopped for lunch.
Sorta left Son4 low and wet.

Charles did his maiden grilling on his Father's Day gift.

Harvey stood below, with wind blowing bratwurst grease on his head,
while he cleaned the floor.  You don't wanna see that.

But here's Son4, languishing in the water...

...while I just sat there with my hair being a mess and not seeming to mind.

Son4 made his way on board.

I was still just sitting there looking messy, but that's what I do.
My hair was a long mess.  Now it's a shorter mess.
Mrs. Piecrust, ↓ there's this year's swimwear.

Harvey was on the floor trying to be cute.
He sorta pulled that off, but I know he has a greasy head.

Then he leapt up to watch Son4 do some more tubin'.
I think you have to say it that way.
Don't pronounce the "g", or people will know you're a novice.

I called to Harvey, so I could see if he was having a good time.
He was having a good time.

"Hey, I think Harvey's smiling in that photo."
"Ohhh, no, he is not."
*zoom-zoom-zoom*
"Yes he is.  Look!"

But Harvey's just a baby, so he needed a nap.

We woke him up to go home.

It was a great day at the lake.

By the way, if I knew how to make Brannon not talk until we told him to talk, I'd make him stop talking.  Since I don't know how to do that, I better think-up a slug o' posts right away, to get him cycled off the page.  I like him just fine, of course.  I just don't think he should talk until we poke him.  Sorry.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  John 4:4

LOVE your new do, LOVE Harvey, the new grill and Son4-igator with his shades on in the water!!! I notice you weren't eating fish on the new grill....was this not a fishing trip or did the fish decide to pass on this meal? Looks like a very relaxing, fun day.
(Brannon did sort of scare me when he started talking out of nowhere!) LOL!

We fished some, but other than a couple of deftly stripped minnows, there was no action. Sorry, but I shared the chuckle over Brannon, which I reckon is okay, since he makes me jump every time I load the page. Ü
