Poll - Sweatshirt Fleece

POLL is in the sidebar ----->

[Poll is closed: Just use the fabric to make chicken jammies, and go buy a new dress barely squeaked by Dye it denim blue, because you love dying your clothes denim blue, in a 5 to 4 vote. With results that close, it seems most magnanimous on my part and only fitting that I acknowledge all who took the time to weigh-in. I shall dye the fabric denim blue and go buy a new dress. I'm only doing it for you -- honest Injun...and I can say that without being hammered, because of my Cherokee heritage in my mutt bloodline.]

I bought this fabric online, and when it arrived, I was taken aback by how ugly it is in comparison with the swatch photo. I don't blame the vendor, because the right side of the fabric is even uglier than my camera could capture. I mean it's UGLY, as in What on earth have I done now?!

While the color was named Olive Green, and I suppose the base color is olive, there are also prominent brown threads in the yardage. I should say, though, that during her recent visit, Zoomer pointed out that the wrong side of the fabric is somewhat attractive. In fact, I had to have a big old sit down and listen to me with Zoomer in order to convince her that ugly stuff on the other side is the right side of the fabric.

So I'm asking for your help. I bought the fabric to make a top and skirt. If I make it right side out, it'll be ugly. If I make it wrong side out, I'll be sportin' on the outside the pilling sweatshirt fleece presents when laundered, a telltale sign that someone didn't know what they were doing: "Look at that woman -- she has her clothes on inside-out!"

YOU make the decision. Please don't leave me alone with my wretched fleece.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Proverbs 31:22

I guess inside out, although it probably won't be very comfortable?

I looks gray to me. But I suppose that doesn't answer your question anyway.
