The Babysitter

While visiting near the pond yesterday with Uncle Kemtrail's family, Harvey the Ridiculous Dog disappeared, which we didn't notice until we heard the chickens (whichever ones he was chasing) squawking like nobody's business...or like our business:  GET YOUR BUSINESS OVER HERE AND STOP THIS RIDICULOUS DOG!!!

Harvey got grounded.  Okay leashed.  And it was I who was holding him tethered, when Ruger the Polar Bear came to me insisting it was his turn to tend the ridiculous dog.  He would not be dissuaded from having his turn, so I released the leash to his which point he quickly ran away with his toy en tow.  Occasionally Ruger would drop the leash, but if Harvey began to walk away, he would slap a paw on it and stop the escape.

Enjoy the resulting slideshow, which culminates in Son4 running to the rescue of Harvey, whose little legs couldn't keep up, when Ruger decided to take him on a trot.

Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.  But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.  Psalms 41:10, 11

Seriously wonderful doggies! Rugar has grown to be a real guardian - slightly unaware of the size difference between himself and wee Harvey. Still - the doxie doesn't know how little he is either - bred to hunt vermin they have terrier hearts - and consequently
are 'really' very big dogs in eensy weency bodies!

I'm so pleased to see these two furballs getting along so well and bringing joy to your home in the process.
Maxie and Bel send their best regards - woof!
