Son4's Big Fish

At home with our catch and camera, I caught a shot of Son4's big fish.

FRESHWATER DRUM:  "It is also called shepherd's pie, silver bass, gray bass, Gasper goo, Gaspergou, gou, grunt, grunter, grinder, wuss fish, and croaker, and is commonly known as sheephead or sheepshead in parts of Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States."[Wikipedia]

And here's my own catch:

WIPER:  "Perhaps the most aggressive fish in Kansas waters, the wiper is a cross between a white bass and a striped bass. Wipers grow fast, strike hard, and fight like no other fish."[KS Dept of Wildlife and Parks]

Son3 caught a 17" smallmouth bass, but the keeper length requirement is 18".  Phooey.

Charles got gunked.  Pooey.
