This big guy is setting a poor example...
For this little guy.
He sure got with the program quickly.
In another part of the house...
Five pints of apricot jam down and all those ↑ to go.
Tasty. And grateful for a bountiful harvest this year.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. ...But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Love the pics!! They crack me up, and Harvey is definitely one of the coolest dogs I've ever seen. And the cat is not bad either even though he makes my eyes itch if I get too close! :) The apricots look amazing and I'm sure Kev's enjoying the preserves. Yummy!
Uh-oh. If we'd known about that itch thing, we could have stuffed Purrle in the linen tower. He loves it in there.
I stinkin' rammed my fingers into the boiling water bath tonight, fishing for an overturned jar, then overflowed the canner adding another. One would think I was trying to get myself fired or something. *lightbulb moment*
12 pints now of apricot sauce for meats, and there's still a veritable mountain. (Okay, hill.) This is just wrong.
All done whinin'...for today.
